About Counselling.
I strive to provide an environment where we can collaborate and work together to reach an understanding of your difficulties and help you to emotionally process any unresolved issues that have perhaps been holding you back. Whether your goal is coming to terms with a difficult or traumatic period of your life or trying to discover more about who you really are, therapy can often be a valuable part of that process.
My approach.
My training has been largely integrative meaning I utilise a wide variety of theories and approaches within my client work and can tailor my approach depending on your needs. The theoretical approach to my work includes: Jungian, Freudian and post-Freudian, and Humanistic theory.
Throughout my training and post-qualification I have worked in a number of agencies and counselling settings and have worked with a wide variety of age-groups and presenting issues.
